How to Print Your Poster

How to Print Your Poster

Follow these simple steps to download and print your Story Solves poster.

Step 1: Check your email

After your purchase, you'll receive an email with the subject line "Your download is ready" (or similar). This usually arrives within a few minutes.

Can't find it? Check your spam or junk folder. If it's still missing, email us at hello@storysolves.com with your order number.

Step 2: Download your PDF

Click the download link in your email. The PDF file will save to your device (usually in your Downloads folder).

Tip: Save the file somewhere easy to find, like your Desktop or Documents folder, so you can print it again later if needed.

Step 3: Open the PDF

Double-click the downloaded file to open it. It will open in your default PDF viewer (like Adobe Reader, Preview on Mac, or your web browser).

Step 4: Print your poster

For the best results:

1. Click FilePrint (or press Ctrl+P on Windows / Cmd+P on Mac)
2. Select your printer
3. Choose A4 paper size
4. Set orientation to Portrait (vertical)
5. Make sure "Fit to page" or "Scale to fit" is selected
6. Click Print

Paper recommendations:

- Standard printer paper (80gsm) works perfectly
- For a more premium feel, use heavier paper (120gsm or cardstock)
- Matte or glossy finish—your choice!

Step 5: Display your poster

Place your printed poster where you'll see it when you need it most:

- On your desk or workspace
- On the fridge (use a magnet or tape)
- Inside a folder or binder
- On a classroom wall
- Next to your computer or study area

Want it to last longer? Laminate it or slip it into a plastic sleeve for extra durability.

Troubleshooting

The poster looks cut off when I print
Make sure "Fit to page" or "Scale to fit" is turned ON in your print settings. Also check that A4 is selected as your paper size.

The file won't open
Make sure you have a PDF reader installed (Adobe Reader is free). If the file is corrupted, contact us at hello@storysolves.com and we'll resend it.

I want to print multiple copies
No problem! Your licence allows you to print as many copies as you need for your personal use. Just change the "Number of copies" in your print settings.

Can I print in black and white?
Yes! The posters are designed to be ink-light and work well in both colour and black-and-white.
